ICFF NYC is like the fashion week of home decor, when we found out we'll be joining this year, we knew we were doing something right when it came to furniture design. Right on ICFF's website their New York City gallery displays the greatest and up and coming furniture and home decor designers worldwide. We were (and still are) ecstatic to join among the ranks of Ceramics of Italy, l'Ameublement Francais French Export Group and Furniture New York.
So here we are, a few weeks left until we showcase for the first time and be surrounded by the creative and artistic minds behind all the designs. But why should you attend?
Design exposure. ICFF NYC will include over 750 exhibitors from all points of the globe who will display contemporary furniture, seating, flooring, lighting, outdoor furniture, wall coverings, accessories, textiles, and kitchen and bath for residential and commercial interiors.
Over the course of four days, you will have the opportunity to become surrounded by all individual aspects of furniture and home decor, with the ability to spend an entire day looking at flooring alone, such as Island Stone. They reflect nature's raw, exotic beauty through their range of tile and wall cladding offerings, many of which you can see in person at the expo.
For designers & laymen. Over the course of four days, May 21-24, more than 35,000 interior designers, architects, retailers, representatives, distributors, facility managers, developers, manufacturers, store designers, and visual merchandisers will have access to the 800 exhibitors sitting on over 165,000 net square feet at New York City's Javits Center.
From Sunday to Tuesday the gallery will be exclusive to these industry professionals, allowing ample time for exploring exhibitors and fitting into busy schedules. On Wednesday, May 24, ICFF opens its doors to the general public, allowing any aspiring designers, homeowners and all else interested in immersing themselves in the eclectic and inspiring home decor.
International Design Hub. Top international home decor designers make their yearly pilgrimage to New York specifically for ICFF NYC. A handful of these top international designers are Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Brazilian Furniture, British European Design Group (BEDG), Ceramics of Italy, Design Philippines, Furniture New York, The Furniture Society (U.S.), Inside Norway, Interiors from Spain, HO.MI New York and Portugal Brands.
Once a year, at ICFF NYC, you receive a chance to interact with these international designers and have a once in a lifetime chance to experience their current collections in person.
Learn from the experts. ICFF isn't just about the exhibitors, but overall design and home decor. Throughout the 4 days there are design talks that teach various design techniques, discuss design trends and can expose you to up and coming designers. Check out all the design talks!
Create your expo plan. With all the exhibitors to visit, it's easy to get lost in the minutiae. I never go to the Met without a game plan, otherwise I always leave missing what I intended to see (but I never leave unhappy) and I recommend you take advantage of ICFF "My Expo Plan" feature with that problem in mind.
My Expo Plan allows you to search and add the exhibitors of what you want to see onto an easy to track list and displays them next to the expo map.
Within the map you can move your cursor around and be shown who will display which designer is showcasing (you can find WE Living at booth #878) when you hover over various booths.
Attend for free. At this point, I'm sure you are as excited as we are to attend and we want to help you get there. We are giving away two free tickets to attend ICFF NYC, all you have to do is enter!
We are anxiously waiting to see you at ICFF NYC May 21-24. Stop by booth #878 to say "Hi" check out our Dovetail Collection and receive a little surprise, just mention you read our blog! See you there 😉
